App funnel audit
Five working days reconstructing how a shopping app counts browse, bag, checkout, and paid order — including guest paths, vouchers, and store pickup.
Who this is for
Retailers who already have a shopping app (iOS, Android, or both) and a merchandising or e-commerce desk that cannot trust the weekly funnel. Typical briefs come after 11.11, Ramadan, or a storewide voucher when “add to bag” looks busy and paid orders do not.
Result
You receive a written pack that maps each major screen to the events that fire, names the events a Monday meeting may use, and lists the ones that mix failed payments, guest checkout, pickup, and list-price versus voucher.
Scope
Included: one consumer shopping app, one catalog, live event inspection on staging or production (with your access), interviews with merchandising and the person who owns checkout, a gap list, and a 90-minute readout.
Excluded: rebuilding your event collector, writing engineering tickets for every screen, paid-media buying, warehouse or last-mile audits, and any work on a marketplace you do not operate.
Provider and process
Two reviewers from Workspace Grove lead the week. Day one is a walkthrough of the live app with a merchandiser holding the phone. Days two and three compare event names to what actually happens at bag, address, payment, and thank-you. Day four drafts the pack. Day five is the readout with questions from finance if they join.
Timeline and place
Five consecutive working days, or split across two calendar weeks if a campaign freeze is in force. We work from Level 10 in Johor Bahru, at your HQ, or over a shared session if the product desk sits in the Klang Valley.
Preparation
Share a test account, a list of current event names, last month’s campaign calendar, and whether store pickup and home delivery use the same thank-you screen. Do not scrub production data; we need the messy paths.
Constraints
We need a named counterpart who can approve event changes later. If legal forbids production inspection, staging must match checkout, including FPX and card. Bahasa Malaysia copy on screens is fine; our pack is written in English unless you ask otherwise.
Price
Quoted from RM 18,400 for a single storefront app with one catalog. A second brand under the same checkout adds a scoped supplement. Travel outside Johor Bahru is billed at cost.
Next step
Request a briefing with the screens that worry merchandising and a preferred start week.
