Store pickup is not a small delivery
If pickup and home delivery share a thank-you event, your operations meeting is reading fiction.
Many chain apps in Malaysia offer klik & collect beside van delivery. Shoppers understand the difference. Event lists often do not. A shared “purchase” on the thank-you screen folds a two-hour pickup slot into the same line as a next-day parcel.
That fold hides two operational facts: whether the dark store can actually fulfil the slot, and whether delivery fees are changing the paid mix. During audit weeks we ask to complete both paths on a test login. If the same event name appears twice, we write it down as a single problem, not two features.
Pickup no-shows belong in operations, not in the conversion percentage. If your collector cannot yet name a no-show, say so in the Monday pack rather than borrowing the delivery rate.
